FAQ: WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

-Tours will take place rain or shine. Dangerous thunderstorms, lightning, large hail or tornadoes are the only weather that will cancel a tour. NO REFUNDS will be issued unless a tour is cancelled by the tour operator. Every effort will be made to notify tour participants at least one-half hour prior to tour start time in the event of a cancellation. Notifications will be sent via text or e-mail or other electronic communication.

-No public restrooms are available at Maple Hill Cemetery.

-Tour participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, cool attire and good walking shoes. 

-This tour will often leave paved roads and be conducted on grassy and dirt areas.

-Maple Hill cemetery isn’t completely handicap accessible, strollers, wheelchairs and walkers will need to stay on the paved road for portions of the tour.

-While inside the grounds of Maple Hill Cemetery all visitors are prohibited from bringing any pets or animals (except service dogs).

-All food or beverages (except bottled water) are not permitted inside Maple Hill Cemetery.

-Alcohol of any form is NOT permitted inside Maple Hill Cemetery.

-Please be respectful of the grounds and kindly deposit all trash in provided receptacles. Littering is not permitted.

- Tour participants are prohibited from smoking, use of tobacco or vaping within cemetery grounds.

Maple Hill Cemetery is a sacred place, please be respectful at all times. As such, visitors shall NOT:

- Remove flower arrangements or décor from any gravesite.

- Scratch, mar, deface, injure, or disturb anything within the Cemetery grounds.

- Sit upon, lean on, stand on any monument or grave marker. This is a sacred place, please be respectful at all times.

-Tour participants assume any and all risks associated with the tour. Tour participants shall not hold Maple Hill Cemetery, the tour company or any tour guides responsible for any injuries while taking the tour.
